A long-time friend of Meghan revealed on an interview with MailOnline that Meghan has always dreamed of getting an Oscar, and that is what she has always wanted since she was a young girl.

She proceeded to say that when Meghan Markle was still involved in the TV drama series, ‘Suits’, the Duchess would often practice her speech in front of a mirror. The Duchess would imagine that she was getting an Oscar or an Emmy Award. 

This was an unprecedented move from the couple and took the world by surprise. The royal family was also in the dark with the decision of the couple to sign a deal with Netflix.

It is said that the couple has gotten a ‘megawatt’ fee from Netflix, celebrity experts reveal that the couple are believed to have gotten $150 million from the deal.

Experts also believe that Harry and Meghan are following the steps taken by the Obamas. Barack and Michelle both signed a deal with Netflix after Barack Obama’s presidential term ended.

The Sussex’s are also rumored to be talking to another streaming giant, Spotify, for a deal. Like Michelle Obama, Spotify is expecting to sign an exclusive deal with the couple, which would be one of the biggest deal they will make in recent years.
