A lot of things have been said about Angelina Jolie and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Months ago, OK! magazine claimed that Jolie was asked to direct and star in a Marvel movie, but she passed up on the offer. A source claimed that it didn’t take the mom of six very long to realize that she regrets her decision.

To make things worse, Jolie was, allegedly, jealous of Brie Larson and the success and following she received since she joined MCU. The insider claimed that if Jolie only accepted the offer, she would’ve directed Captain Marvel.

However, Gossip Cop was quick to debunk the tabloid's claims. They said that directing a Marvel movie seems like a far cry for what Jolie usually directs. As such, it is untrue that she was the one who was supposed to direct the movie.

It is also untrue that Jolie is jealous of Larson and the success she received after joining MCU.

Life & Style also published a dubious story about Jolie and MCU recently. They claimed that Jolie tried to break up Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s happy marriage.

Jolie and Hemsworth attended the Comic-Con panel for Marvel Studios. And even though they don’t star in the same MCU film, they were at the event together.

A source for the tabloid then claimed that Jolie and Hemsworth’s closeness while at the panel made Pataky uncomfortable. As such, she urged her husband to stop associating himself with Brad Pitt’s ex-wife.

Woman’s Day also previously claimed that Keanu Reeves was dying to star in The Eternals so that he could work with Jolie. A source claimed that Reeves has a huge crush on the Maleficent star.

And Jolie is also, allegedly, interested in dating the actor. In fact, she’s been pushing for Reeves’s casting in The Eternals. The insider also claimed that Reeves and Jolie were both ready to mix business with pleasure.

Additionally, no Jolie rumor would be complete with mentioning Jennifer Aniston. During a previous interview, the Friends star said that she has no plans to star in a superhero movie for Marvel.

Aniston’s statement was innocent and it didn’t have anything to do with Jolie. However, tabloids claimed that this was her way of shading her alleged nemesis. After all, Jolie had just been tapped for The Eternals back then.

Gossip Cop has also debunked all these claims saying that Jolie isn’t feuding with anyone from MCU. And she’s not also mixing business with pleasure.
