Meghan Markle’s sudden appearance in the life of Prince Harry was something that the public was very curious about. The two who met through close friends and who’s love for each other was described as a ‘whirlwind’ type of love, have been through many obstacles. One of the many problems they have encountered was in the very own institution where they were to serve their entire royal lives.

According to Omid Scobie, one of the authors of ‘Finding Freedom’, he revealed in his podcast that Meghan never fit with the royal institution and that her ‘dynamism’ was what Harry loved about her.

The Duchess was said to have been branded as ‘Problematic Princess’ during her stay with the royal family. Due to her unyielding character, many of the staff that worked for both Prince Harry and her, and the Sussex’s brand in general quit and leaked many stories.

She reminded Harry of his own mother, the late Princess Diana, who in her own ways was also her own woman and a rebel to the system of the Monarchy.

In an interview with ABC, Mr. Scobie said, "There’s no more pragmatic family than the royal family. I think they are capable of having positive and healthy relationships with anyone. But as we’ve seen, this wasn’t necessarily about relationships between royal family members and Meghan, this was about the institution of the monarchy and how they supported Meghan. I think had Meghan have come in and done everything by the book rather than ever come up with her own ideas or challenge a way of working or bringing in her own ideas, than it may have been very different. But that’s not obviously what we can realistically expect from a human being."

Scobie also spoke about the recent deal that the couple struck with the streaming giant, Netflix. According to ‘Finding Freedom’ author, the deal was probably something that was already talked about since the day Harry and Meghan left the royal firm.

Although many believe that the move Harry and Meghan made with Netflix is a cry for financial help, this may not be true. Scobie reminded his listeners in his podcast that ever since the couple left their royal duties, they have only ‘thrived’.

Harry and Meghan are aiming to make an impact in the world, through their deal with Netflix this will give them a bigger platform than what the Royal family can give.

The couple’s deal with Netflix will give them the right audience to spread awareness on several important topics and to become key players in the right areas.
