Michael Rooker opened up about his experience dealing with COVID-19. The Walking Dead star took to Facebook to share a lengthy post on Sept. 4 and disclose how he was isolated. The 65-year-old actor also shared his coronavirus negative test reports along with the post.

"If y’all aint figured it out by now why I’ve been isolating in this crazy awesome Airstream of mine, let me help y’all out by saying I’ve been fighting off COVID-19," the actor wrote. The actor further called the entire experience of dealing with coronavirus “quite a battle” but he turned out to be the stronger one in the battle.

Rooker went on that he didn't consume any additional supplements, vitamins, or medicines during quarantine and dealing with the ongoing virus in his body. The actor explained that according to him if his immune system isn't good enough to fight against the coronavirus then adding more stuff in the body won't make sense.

According to Rooker, if he adds extra supplements or medicines in his body then it might have damaged his liver or kidneys due to additional stress. He further wrote that the entire battle with the coronavirus in the body could be visibly seen.

The actor admitted that he could see the difference in his looks and how he felt as the days gradually passed. The Guardians of the Galaxy star said that he felt like a "crap" in a moment or "dang" in another. It was a "semi-human" feeling that the actor had throughout his battle.

The actor concluded the post and said that his intention was to inform his fans that he won the battle. He shared the final reports of his fight against the COVID-19 and praised his own body for the victory achieved.

The actor wrote a line in the end of the post that indicated the virus attempted pretty well to knock him down but eventually he was the one who knocked the virus out of his body. The picture shared alongside the post mentioned Sept. 4 on the documents and patient's name as the result was marked negative with a crossed sign.

The actor will be seen in a couple of popular franchises such as The Suicide Squad by filmmaker James Gunn along with Fast and Furious 9 by director Justin Lin. Both the movies are slated for 2021, although due to ongoing pandemic the release dates are expected to be pushed further.
