Liam Hemsworth Reveals How Stressful It Was To Be With Miley Cyrus
It has been seven months since fans of ex-couple Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were heartbroken to learn that they were getting divorced. Now Liam has opened up about his struggles and how stressful it got for him.
Hollywood Life reports how the 'Hunger Games' actor opened up in an interview about being under the spotlight. "Yeah, look, there are times when you want to lash out and say something…because from my point of view, the majority of the time things that are written about me are completely false."
He says that there are times that he really wants to speak up but there are also moments when he knows it's not worth it. With all that is going on now, he claims that he is done with worrying. He wants to enjoy life now and just see how things go. These days he feels more balanced and in the past six months, he has turned to exercise and fitness to achieve just that.
Though not mentioned outright, his stress may come due to divorcing his ex-wife, singer Miley Cyrus.
The two have had an on-off relation that began in 2009 when they were paired in the movie 'The Last Song'. They dated for three years before announcing their engagement in 2012. But by September next year, they ended their engagement and proclaimed that they are best friends.
Three years later, the couple will reconcile and once again become engaged, bringing joy to their many fans who wished they would get back together. They went through a lot together, including having their home burned down during the Woolsey Fire.
It seems that the couple was on their way to their happily ever after when they got married in December 2018. But not even a year later and Liam files for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. This move was probably prompted by pictures of Miley kissing Kaitlyn Carter.
Now, the two have both moved on with new people. Miley is happily dating Cody Simpson while Liam is dating model Gabriella Brooks. He even posted a racy photo on his Instagram page on Easter, with a reminder to stay safe. It seems that he and girlfriend Gabriella are in isolation together in the actor's home in Melbourne, as reported on the Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Miley and Cody have spent their time doing makeovers and giving some taco meals to healthcare workers who are battling the coronavirus pandemic.
