As royal members are beginning to come to terms with life after the departure of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, news has emerged that Harry may be missing one royal family member more than most.

It’s not the Queen, as one would expect – in fact, it’s someone who the Duke connects with the best in the royal family.

By the end of September, it will have been six months since the Duke and Duchess bid farewell to the royal house. During this period - neither the Sussexes nor the royal family members have said anything about the situation.

But the emotions came to the surface fairly easily through their gestures and some of their doings.

The royal biography Finding Freedom, co-authored by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand may be giving a hint who Prince Harry may be missing more than anybody else after swapping UK for LA.

Unsurprisingly, it’s Princess Eugenie. Yes, according to the royal biography, Princess Eugenie is one of the closest royal family members to Prince Harry. As a matter of fact, Eugenie was the first one who the Duke went to tell about his relationship with Meghan Markle.

Finding Freedom details the incredible connection between the cousins.

An excerpt about Eugenie and Harry reads, "Harry had always confided in his cousin when it came to the women in his life. Not only did he trust her implicitly, but friends say that she gives great advice and has always been 'beyond wise' for her years. It's not surprising, then, that Eugenie was one of the first in the family to know about his relationship with Meghan."

In addition to that, Finding Freedom also tells that Eugenie wished her cousin to settle down and be happy in life. According to the book, Eugenie told one of her friends that she was ‘just the tonic’ for Prince Harry.

Scobie and Durand have highlighted that Harry and Eugenie are naturally related – just like Harry, Eugenie is fun to be around, she is generous, and has got a loyal heart.

Prince Harry has signed a Netflix deal which has, in a way, solidified his place in the country. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be in the country for an unforeseeable time to come. However, considering the love between the cousins, it’s certain that they must be willing to meet each other as soon as possible and that may be the reason for his return to the UK.
