Prince Charles has been a great father figure for both his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, after the death of their mother, the late Princess Diana, he has shown everlasting support and love for his kids. Before the death of Princess Diana, he was seen to be cold towards his sons, but due to the unfortunate events that have happened, he became more fatherly to the princes.

In an unearthed interview he did with his son, Prince Harry, they talked about the environment and the huge impact generations before they have created for the future of the environment. 

Both of the Princes are big environmentalists, with Prince Charles being an activist for the environment since 1989. In the interview, he made a promise to Prince Harry and to Archie.

“What I’ve tried to do all these years is to make sure, if I can possibly, is that ensure that you and your children, my grandchildren, also everybody else’s grandchildren, have a world fit to live in, that provides them with opportunity. We should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation”, Prince Charles stated during the interview with his son.

Prince Charles also explained that one of the biggest influences for becoming an environmentalist was having a family. When his two sons came, he became more aware of what his son might be living with.

Both Prince Charles and Prince Harry have been away from each other for almost a year now. Prince Harry’s close bond with his father has been put into consideration after he decidedly moves to America, together with Meghan and their son, Archie.

Harry, also a big environmentalist like his father, was in hot waters for some time due to his numerous travels with Meghan and was branded a hypocrite.

Now, the situation has repeated itself after he and Meghan bought a nine-bedroom mansion in California. Activists have branded him a hypocrite for caving in into buying a house that will generate a massive electric bill and carbon footprint.

Despite that, Prince Charles has been one of the biggest supporters of Prince Harry and was well aware of his son's plans to step down from his royal duties.

The sudden move to America though was one unforeseen by Charles and said to have upset him and the other royal members. Many believe that this created a rift on the princes’ solid relationship with each other.

Harry and Meghan are currently based in California and has not yet gone back to the UK since their exit from the royal family.
