Now, another British outcry to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their titles as they sign a huge exclusive deal with streaming giant ‘Netflix’.
Many have called to the Queen that the Prince and Meghan should not be carrying their titles anymore as they believe that the couple is cashing on their titles.
“Why are Harry and Meghan still being called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? Didn’t they quit the Royal Family, and the royal duties? If she wants to work with Netflix, that’s fine, but she should drop the title. Royals don’t produce on Netflix”, one social media user wrote.
A recent poll done by ‘Express.co.uk’, a British news site, revealed staggering results against Harry and Meghan Markle. In their poll they asked their readers if they would watch the produced content of the couple in Netflix, majority of the votes 90% (8922) voted No, while only 5% said they are interested.
A similar poll was done by another site, ‘YouGov’, showed almost mirrored results, which showed that people were not interested to watch any shows the two will produce on Netflix.
According to one social media user, Netflix has gotten the short end of the deal, the user claims that the couple is extremely unpopular in Britain and there is no way that their shows would ever be streamed in the country.
It may be a different story in the US for the couple. Both Harry and Meghan have gained positive reviews from the Americans as they show their support for many movements and initiatives happening in the US.
