Easy Prediction: Meghan Markle And Ivanka Trump May Be In The 2024 Presidential Battle
Many might have forgotten what Meghan Markle has to say about the political system of the country and the POTUS as it's been so long since she gave any open remark. However, during the 2016 presidential election campaigns, Meghan made furious comments on Donald Trump, calling him divisive and misogynistic.
Post her public comments, the Suits star attracted a lot of media attention and she may have carved out a place for herself in politics. But after tying the knot with Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan had to adopt the apolitical style of the royal clan.
On the other side, Ivanka Trump strikes as the one who would be psyched up to run for office. Although Ivanka has previously said that politics doesn’t interest her, in recent years, she has been one of the most active members of her father’s side. Ivanka is one of the top promoters of Trump’s election campaigns this year – she even introduced him at the Republican convention.
Political commentators are speculating, the 2024 presidential elections will be tighter than the current one - and considering the stance of ladies, it’s not hard to see why they can be the ideal presidential candidates.
According to Commentator Rosa Silverman, the bookmakers are favoring Ivanka over Meghan. The excerpt of her writing present that the first daughter has got 33 to 1 odds of winning the 2024 election against Meghan who scored only 100 to 1.
Well, it’s too early to say – as when Trump announced his plans to run for office, he also stood at the same odds of winning the election.
Royal author Lady Colin Campbell also suggested that Meghan wanted to try her hands in politics.
In conversation with media, she said, “I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I’ve been told that one day she wants to run for President. I think everything she is doing, leaving the Royal Family and moving back to California, is part of her plan and she has taken Harry along with her.”
Recently, Meghan Markle garnered loads of praises from observers for encouraging people to vote in a very straight forward manner. The Duchess joined Michelle Obama in a virtual discussion on women’s rights.
Urging women to vote, Meghan said that those who don’t bother to vote are a part of the problem that the country is currently facing. She further claimed that all the non-voters are responsible for the bad decisions made in the country saying, “complacent is complicit.”
