Queen Elizabeth Betrayed By Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Decision To Buy Santa Barbara Home
Queen Elizabeth allegedly feels betrayed over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to buy a house in Santa Barbara.
According to Closer USA, the queen allowed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to quit The Firm on a trial basis. Their initial agreement was that the arrangement will be reviewed after one year.
However, the fact that Prince Harry and Markle already purchased a home allegedly indicates that they don’t have any plans to return to the United Kingdom.
“The queen gave Harry and Meghan permission to exit the family on a trial basis. She’s incredibly hurt that they’ve gone ahead and purchased a permanent home. She feels betrayed,” the source said.
However, the source also said that Prince Harry and Markle couldn’t care less about the queen’s feelings. After all, they simply followed their hearts' desires. Prince Harry particularly felt the need to follow his dreams because this is what Princess Diana taught him.
“Diana was a firm believer in following your dreams and doing whatever makes you happy, regardless of what anyone else thinks,” the source said.
Following their move to Santa Barbara last July, Prince Harry and Markle are still reportedly adjusting to their new life in the city.
“They still have bodyguards, but no longer need as many. Meghan’s already started updating some of the rooms, including their bedroom, Archie’s bedroom, the main living room, kitchen, and gym to suit their style and taste. She wants to brighten the place up and add a touch of color. She’s always had a flair for home design,” the source said.
According to the insider, Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland hasn’t moved in with her and Prince Harry. As such, the Suits alum will still be splitting her time between LA and Montecito so that she and Archie could spend time with Ragland.
While they’re in Santa Barbara, Prince Harry and Markle want to make sure that their son, Archie would have plenty of things to do.
“The outdoor play area will be personalized for Archie—with swings and slides and kids’ tables and chairs so that his new little pals can come over and play. Harry and Meghan finally feel happy, safe, and home,” the source said.
