There have been near-constant speculations and reports on whether Brad Pitt and his oldest son Maddox get along or not. Has the tension between the actor and his son lessened since that, allegedly, infamous incident that took place in a private jet? 

Reports have it that Angelina Jolie filed for the divorce after that incident. While there have been a lot of speculations about whether Pitt and his son are on talking terms are not, there is not much information about what exactly happened on that fateful day. 

Jolie and Pitt’s camps have come up with contradictory reports, which have complicated the matter further. However, it is certain that the family was returning from their residence in the French city of Nice to their Los Angeles home when the feud took place. 

Meanwhile, the incident possibly started after the Maleficent actress and the Fight Club actor started arguing with each other. There is a chance that Maddox came in between to defend his mom, TMZ reports. Pitt, allegedly, got into a brawl with his son and Jolie tried to separate them. 

There have been claims and counterclaims over whether the Troy actor was under the influence of alcohol or not at that time. That is because both camps have different versions of the incident. 

Although an investigation was conducted into the incident, it came to a close soon. It was eventually decided that the actor would not be slapped with any charges. 

Whenever there is any report involving Brad Pitt and his equation with son Maddox, the story also has a mention of Angelina Jolie into it. Most of these reports are not quite kind in nature. 

For instance, just 12 months after the incident took place, there was a report that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star was furious with Angie for calling him to Maddox’s birthday bash. However, the report conveniently forgot to mention that Pitt did not attend the birthdays of many of his other kids, Father’s Day and Christmas even before his oldest son’s birthday. 

The report also went on to portray Jolie in a poor light that was purposely creating a distance between the kids and their dad. It seemed the tabloid just could not believe that a teen can have a stormy relationship with his dad without being brainwashed by his mom. 

There was another report that insisted Maddox and Pax wished their father via Instagram on his birthday. But the fact is none of these two boys had an account on Instagram. 

The IG accounts being referred to in the story were fan accounts, which have now been removed. The accounts in question did not belong to either Pax or Maddox according to Gossip Cop. Although the media has been desperately hoping that Pitt and his two sons have a reconciliation, the boys are okay with things moving at their pace.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt has incorporated several changes in his life after his split from Angelina Jolie. He has also, reportedly, given up the booze, which might have something to do with the argument on the aircraft. There is always a possibility that the father and son will reconnect in the future.
