Bradley Cooper Talks About Spending Quarantine With His 80-Year-Old Mom
Bradley Cooper is currently ensuring that his family takes proper precautions amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 45-year-old actor opened up with Interview Magazine regarding his mother, Gloria. The actor spoke with Anthony Ramos, who revealed the details on how Cooper is keeping the disease away from his 80-year-old mom.
"I’m with my daughter and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house. My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anybody in the house and I can’t leave the house, because if she gets it, it’s over," the actor told the outlet.
Cooper also said that he never leaves the home as he fears that his mother might get the virus because of him. Cooper went on and explained that he is currently situated in his small townhouse and he is grateful to have a backyard.
He also mentioned that he constantly tries to keep his daughter named Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper entertained. The actor said that he feels like running a preschool by one person. In joking said that he gives his daughter, a three-year-old swimming classes in the bathtub.
The actor shared his daughter with the Russian model, Irina Shayk while the couple is no more together. Since last month, the actor began shooting for a new movie with Paul Thomas Anderson and also spotted with Jennifer Garner. However, the actor is very close to his mother.
Cooper’s father, Charles fought against lung cancer for a long time and soon Cooper moved in to stay with his parents before his father passed away. The actor explained that he has a close-knit family and it was devastating to see his father dying.
The Silver Linings Playbook star said that the aftershock after the demise of his father has faded yet. That's one of the reasons that he stayed with his mother as they need one another to cope up with the loss. The actor revealed to Los Angeles Times that his mother doesn't stay in a guesthouse and he stays in a compound.
In fact, they both stay in the next room with one another. He addressed his mother as "cool chick" and said that they often hang out with each other while she also showers him with punches. Gloria has been spotted at several events with her son including the Oscars when Cooper was nominated.
