Princess Diana’s Hell Life: Charles Blatantly Made Diana Suffer, ‘Ignored And Unloved’
Princess Diana and Prince Charles's marriage was not a fairytale, they endured relentless scandals from one another. When the two announced their wedding in 1981, the world could not wait to see another dream come true. It was Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s marriage that was the first broadcast, but that was ages ago.
When it was announced that Prince Charles was to be married to noble blood, Diana Spencer, the world could only wait for their wedding broadcast.
Now, in the midst of Princess Diana’s death anniversary, revelations of Prince Charles's brutal manners towards Princess Diana have been revealed. From his cold indifference towards his wife to gifts that send messages.
According to Andrew Morton, who authored the 1992 book ‘Diana: Her True Story’, recalled that Diana’s close friends were concerned for the Princess and the way Charles treated her.
Mr. Morton continued to explain that Diana felt like she was being ignored by Charles and that due to this, she resented her husband and became unsupportive of his ways as well.
Diana would try her hardest not to be interested in what Charles found joy in, such as his love for architecture, the environment, and agriculture. It was also revealed that Diana was aware of Charles’ demeanor towards her, she would often nonchalantly comment about it to her concerned friends.
"Painful experience tells her that any suggestions would be treated with ill-disguised contempt. He makes her feel intellectually insecure and inferior and constantly reinforces that message,' notes a close friend. When Charles took his wife to see A Woman of No Importance when he celebrated his 43rd birthday, the irony was not lost on her friends”, Mr. Morton wrote in ‘Diana: Her True Story’.
Charles and Diana share two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Diana was known to love her children beyond her love for Charles and that she was one of the few Royals who were exceptionally hands-on with her kids.
Now, her two sons have their own families, with William having three young children and Harry with one.
The brothers are known to be in a little bit of a rift as their once-close relationship has deteriorated over the months. Harry once admitted that his brother and he were on different paths.
William and Harry did release a rare joint statement regarding a statue of their mother, the late Princess Diana, to be put up in Kensington Palace in 2021. This is to commemorate Princess Diana’s 60th birthday.
