The award was designed with the Ice Princess logo, which was wrapped in silver. The A Star Is Born singer went on the virtual stage following Bella Hadid's speech and thanked the inaugural award.

The 34-year-old singer and songwriter appreciated the award being honored to her and admitted that no one would ever realize how important this award is for her. However, she addressed the fact that she has been in business since she was very young.

Gaga revealed that she had huge dreams and she never imagined that those big dreams would ever come true. "I truly never could have imagined that someday I would be given an award like this that honored me for so many of my passions," she said. She further addressed everyone watching from their respective homes and said she'd like to share the award with them.

The multi-talented star further said that everyone at her place is Tricon in their own way. She said that everyone should take time to think about three things about themselves, which define their personalities. Accordingly, people should reward themselves for the "bravery".

Gaga addressed the ongoing pandemic and said that the year 2020 has not been easy for many people out of there. She noted that the current situation across the globe has shown massive courage from common people and wished that everyone with big hope and dreams is watching her as she accepts the award.

The entertainer said her motive is to ensure that everyone knows, if she can do this then they can also achieve this. She went on and said that music is a future for cultural shifts and social media. The pop singer said that the renaissance is on its way.

According to Gaga, it will be pop culture along with the art that has rage involved, empower the new generation. The star ensured that the speech she delivered during the acceptance speech was inspirational to many new talents who look up to her.

It seems the Video Vanguard Award has been replaced by the newly introduced Tricon Award to recognize talents who have achieved success in various categories such as fashion, acting, and music.
