Amber Riley remembered the late actress Naya Rivera, who was her co-star on Glee. The 34-year-old actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform a tribute to the actress on Aug. 27. While Riley will be releasing her EP after a couple of months, she decided to sing A Moment in honor of her late friend.

Other Glee co-stars encouraged the multi-talented star to perform that includes Chord Overstreet, who was also a part of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. Overstreet took Twitter to encourage Riley and said that he can't wait to watch this heartfelt tribute.

While the Riley performs on stage to pay respect to the actress, there were pictures of Rivera in the background slideshow. Although in some of the pictures, there was her son, Josey. The pictures displayed on the big screen and the ballad from Riley made the performance look extremely powerful and heartfelt.

Rivera was found dead after a couple of days when she went missing. The actress' body was discovered on July 13. The 33-year-old actress took her four-year-old son boating in California at Lake Piru where this incident occurred. However, her son was rescued safely.

The co-stars of the actress remembered Rivera on social media by sharing several heartbreaking messages followed by the fans and followers. Riley wrote on social media and revealed that she had a great time singing with Rivera on the show and it was one of the best duets she ever sang.

"Miss you baby girl and I love you #NayaRivera. Her brain was brilliant. Always had me in stitches, we would be in tears laughing so hard at one another," she wrote. She mentioned further in the post that she is mad about the world would never truly realize her potential.

The actress further wrote that she takes Rivera's name daily and she has a special place in her heart. She mentioned Cory Monteith and disclosed that she still misses him. Riley recalls that the entire crew and cast members have come together and shown love and respect to the late actress.

She went on and expressed that Rivera's presence brought so much joy, passion, and excitement. However, her absence is now holding everyone accountable to stay strong with each other. Riley said that she has been crying a lot that her tears have dried now. However, she prayed for Rivera’s peace that everyone has been searching.
