Donald Trump Accepts GOP Nomination And Warns No One Will Be Safe If Joe Biden Wins Election
During a speech, which can be touted as the most important address of his 2020 election campaign, Donald Trump suggested that Joe Biden's America will be unsafe for everyone. In an attempt to imply he is different from the former vice president, Trump guaranteed security to the people of the United States.
Trump was delivering his GOP renomination acceptance speech from the White House's South Lawn on Thursday as he concluded this week's RNC (Republican National Convention). The president said Biden will not save America's soul, but will destroy the country's jobs, and won't shy away from even destroying America's greatness.
Defending the idea of him getting re-elected as the POTUS, Trump insisted that he has lived by the promises he made to his supporters. In a new term as president, Trump said he will rebuild the greatest economy in history that will feature full employment, soaring incomes, and skyrocketing prosperity.
Aside from touting himself as exactly opposite of Biden, the president used his speech to breathe new life into the rundown contest that has seen his consistently lagging behind the former veep in the national public opinion polling, but more importantly in surveys in the crucial general election battleground states, Fox News reported.
Trump is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to make a major comeback in a race where his job battling the coronavirus pandemic and an economy shrunken by the crisis are top priorities of voters. In his speech, Trump again portrayed Biden as a slave to the extreme left of the Democratic Party, while predicting a chaotic future for the people of America if Biden wins the impending general election.
Trump insisted that this is the most important election in the history of America. He went on to claim that never before have voters faced a clearer choice between two parties, two philosophies, two agendas, or two visions, noting that this election will decide whether the American dream survives or the socialist plan to destroy America's cherished destiny will prevail.
Furthermore, the president noted that the impending election will decide whether the American way of life will be defended, or a radical movement completely dismantles and destroys it. Accusing Biden of being weak, Trump said he takes orders from liberal hypocrites who destroy cities, while staying far from the scene of the ruins. Trump described Biden as the trojan horse for socialism.
