Cardi B Is Hitting Repeat Over 'WAP' & Rihanna's 'S&M' Mash-Up
The collision of this year's mega-hit and 2010's entry is indeed an outtake of Card B's newly released track called 'WAP, and Rihanna's 'S&M.' Mashup genius oneboredju curated and enhanced the two-song by combining the artists' craft in the form of a remix posted on Youtube on Aug. 16. Ten days later, the mashup mogul's stunning creation caught the female rapper's attention, making her say, "I Like this …ALOT."
The mashup track made its way to Cardi B's feed when a fan shared it on Twitter, retweeted the rapper.

As per Hollywood Life, 'WAP' and 'S&M' perfectly sounded together, mostly that the two records are sung by empowered and titled female artists who hail their gender as a weapon. One fan from Twitter remarked on the mashup, creating a title out of it that demands collaboration. "Rihanna x Cardi collaboration," the fan wrote.
Having that said, the tweet raked 800 likes, showing many agree for the collaboration. Especially now that Rihanna is yet to release her much-awaited album.
Her collaboration with fellow female rapper, Megan The Stallion, proves that Cardi B can team up with big names in the industry like Rihanna. Since her debut, the rapper earned her coveted spot in the hip-hop stage with her rapping skills. As a result, 'WAP' landed on the first spot on Billboard Hot 100, making it the first female rap collaboration to sit on the throne.
With the single's success, many have come to negatively comment and criticize the Cardi B and Megan, blurting out that the lyrics are beyond explicit. The mother-of-one quashed the bashers and haters on her recent interview with 'The Kyle & Jackie O Show' on Aug. 23.
"The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious people," she said. However, music like her releases is the type of songs she grew up with, which is wholly okay. Unfortunately, to some, that might find the song very liberated and vulgar, but it is typical for the rapper.
She continued that she wouldn't want her 2-year-old daughter, Kulture, to listen to it because it is only for adults.
While many are waiting for Cardi B's future stunts in the music scene, many are also patiently waiting for Rihanna's album to come out. The pop superstar previously revealed that she was back in the studio earlier this year. However, vital details about her album are still unknown for the time being.
