Tom Cruise Goes Back To Theater For Movie Watching In London, Gives Thumbs-Up To ‘Tenet’
The Internet is gushing over Tom Cruise who recently showed up at a cinema hall in London to watch the screening of the film Tenet. It is one of those first big-budget films to be released amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
There are still several people in some locations of the United States who have not returned to movie halls because of the pandemic. However, it looks like the Top Gun star is not one of them.
The Hollywood A-lister took to Twitter and posted a clip where he can be seen going to attend the screening of Tenet. The actor proudly mentions that he has arrived at the location where the screening is taking place. He captioned the post with the words: “Back to movies,” CNN reports.
However, his fans would not be much surprised if they took some time to think about it. The actor went to one of London’s IMAX Theater in a black cab to watch the film’s screening.
Cruise did not take off his mask even while watching the film. When the screening of the film ended, the Mission Impossible star said it was a great experience to return to a movie hall.
The actor also gave a thumbs-up to the film when he was asked about it. He responded by saying he loved it.
Social media feels this is just the kind of thing expected from the actor, NDTV reports. Here is an incredibly talented Hollywood star that does not flinch while climbing skyscrapers, as well as, loves jumping out of planes and helicopters rather than relying upon the stuntmen to do those risky action sequences.
Watching a movie in a hall packed with other people appears to be the kind of thing the super-agent Ethan Hunt of Mission Impossible series would opt to do. Tenet was somewhat pushed to the backseat after Tom Cruise reached the United Kingdom to shoot for the latest installment of the Mission Impossible franchise.
The film stars actors like Robert Pattinson and John David Washington in the lead characters. Other actors in the film include Denzil Smith and Dimple Kapadia. Initial reviews seem to indicate that the director of the film, Christopher Nolan has excelled once again.
Meanwhile, Cruise will be playing the role of Ethan Hunt in the latest sequel of Mission Impossible for the seventh time. Other regular cast members Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg will also reprise their roles.
Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7will also have Rebecca Ferguson reprising her character for the third time. The film is slated to release in November 2021 as of now.
