Melania Trump Stuns In Green While Reading ‘The Little Rabbit’ On Easter, Receives Praise On Twitter
Melania Trump recently stunned in an all-green ensemble while reading “The Little Rabbit” on Easter.
The FLOTUS shared a clip of herself via her official Twitter account on Sunday. Initially, the first lady was supposed to host the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House but the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In order to make up for the canceled event, Melania decided to remain true to her tradition of reading a children’s book to commemorate Easter.
“Happy Easter! While I am not able to read to children during the #WHEasterEggRoll, I would still like to honor the annual tradition and share a reading from one of my favorite Easter books – ‘The Little Rabbit,’” she captioned the video.
Donald Trump’s wife showed off her slender frame in her green long-sleeve that was belted around the waist. The FLOTUS also flaunted her stunning legs with the knee-length dress. She also paired her ensemble with her matching green stilettos.
According to Footwear News, the first lady’s footwear may have been designed by Manolo Blahnik and is estimated at over $600.
Meanwhile, Melania received praise from her supporters for continuing one of her Easter traditions despite the ongoing lockdown at the White House and the United States.
“Happy Easter to our beloved Melania @FLOTUS for the sincere love and role model of strength and grace as we the people of our blessed USA begin to reclaim our freedom of faith and expression of all that is good and just. Thank you @realDonaldTrump,” Twitter user @kel50 wrote.
“You’re amazing. Thank you, First Lady Melania, you’re the best first lady ever!” Twitter user @GirlNxDoor wrote.
The FLOTUS also shared three other tweets about this year’s Easter celebrations. On the eve of the special occasion, she paid tribute to all those who have died while battling coronavirus. She also encouraged Americans to reconnect with their family and friends while taking care of themselves.
In another tweet, the first lady encouraged Americans to reflect on the importance of family and faith on Easter. She also uploaded an adorable video featuring the colorful Easter eggs that she and Donald Trump received this year.
Donald, Melania, and their son, Barron Trump are on self-quarantine at the White House.
