Prince Harry’s Desire To Protect Meghan Markle, Archie Reportedly Backfired This Way
Prince Harry has always been adamant at telling the world his priority is to protect his wife, Meghan Markle, and son, Archie.
However, royal expert Marlene Koenig recently claimed that his plans may have backfired.
“The negative press coverage has not abated and privacy is largely non-existent in the United States once you walk outside your front door. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and little Archie would be a lot safer behind the fences in Windsor Great Park,” she wrote on her blog.
Just a few weeks after they relocated to Tyler Perry’s house, reports revealed that drones were flown over their house. Prince Harry and Markle immediately filed a report regarding the incident.
The couple also filed a lawsuit against a paparazzi that took photos of their son, Archie lounging at their private garden. Both incidents proved that Prince Harry and Markle weren’t able to get the privacy that they’ve been dying to have.
Last month, the Sussexes decided to relocate to a more private neighborhood in Santa Barbara. The lavish mansion is situated in a gated community, and it is also home to some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood.
But Mark Karloff from the Paparazzi Podcast that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex still can’t enjoy the privacy that they want in their new neighborhood. After all, photographers, reportedly, patrol the neighborhood in the hopes of catching a glimpse of some celebrities.
“I was actually joking with a photographer the other day that the shot to get now is Meghan and Harry coming out of a cafe with Oprah and Ellen. Montecito is such a small place if they're going to go out at all and enjoy the town or try to get a coffee, I don't know how they're going to do it without getting spotted. Just before they moved up there, Orlando Bloom and Katie Perry were being shot there. Those photographers have kind of moved in up there when before Montecito wasn't a place for photographers to hang out unless they were passing through,” he told Newsweek.
Karloff also said that now that Prince Harry and Markle are residing in the neighborhood. It is highly unlikely for the photographers to leave the area because they all want to take photos of the couple.
Earlier this year, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the best place for Prince Harry and Markle is still the United Kingdom. After all, this is where they can be kept safe and protected because of their royal security.
