Amber Heard and her team reportedly hired a private investigator to keep tabs on her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

While speaking with Daily Mail, Paul Barresi, the private investigator, said that he was tapped to find individuals who were physically and verbally abused by the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star.

At that time, Heard was reportedly emotionally spent, battered, and tormented due to her volatile relationship with Depp. However, he wasn’t successful in his mission.

After interviewing over 100 people in the United States and the United Kingdom, Barresi learned nothing but positive things about Depp. Barresi said that there was not one instance wherein someone came forward to confirm that she was beaten or abused by the actor.

In fact, the private investigator even described Depp as an angel because of his tender heart and generosity. Shortly after completing his investigation, Barresi emailed the information that he gathered about Depp from the people that he interviewed. Unfortunately, this didn’t help support Heard’s claims against her ex-husband.

The actress previously claimed that she physically, verbally, and mentally abused by Depp during their relationship. However, Daily Mail released an audio recording wherein Heard seemingly confirmed that she was the one who abused Depp. She also taunted her ex-husband by saying that no one would believe that he’s a victim of domestic violence.

Earlier this month, Heard’s critics made the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp trending on Twitter after seeing a video of Depp with a bruise under his eye. In 2015, the actor appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” and the camera panned at Depp to show a prominent bruise on his left eye.

The video, which was just unearthed online this month, enraged Depp’s supporters. They are convinced that Heard was the one who gave the “Edward Scissorhands” actor a black eye.
