Just as expected at the time of release. As BTS rolled out its first English-language song Dynamite, it got off to a wondrous start. The song broke the YouTube premiere viewing record in a big way, doubling the previous record numbers held by girl K-pop band Blackpink.

Such an awesome performance at the premiere raised the hopes of fans all across the globe. Apparently, BTS hasn’t disappointed fans and music-buffs as it certainly is ruling multiple charts at the moment.

On August 24, the song debuted at  Melon’s 24Hits chart for the very first time. Melon’s 24Hits chart is set based on the performance of the music both in terms of streaming and downloads. Streaming carries 40 percent weightage and the rest goes to downloads – and undoubtedly on both the scales, BTS’ Dynamite has done a phenomenal job.

BTS’ magic didn’t confine to Melon’s only. Besides Melon’s, the song has topped the main music charts of major sites such as Genie, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs.

Although the boy band is at No. 1 on multiple charts, fans are not quite satisfied as they look to send Dynamic on the pinnacle of probably the most popular and most authentic music charts i.e. Billboard Hot 100. It’s not yet certain, but BTS fans are doing all they can to see their favorite song lead the list.

Considering the number of records BTS’ Dynamic has broken in such a short window of time, it should not take anybody by surprise if the big Billboard dream comes true.

This week Dynamite debuted on Billboard’s Pop Song charts at No. 30. The chart lists down most-played songs on the pop radio stations across the nation. The feat also makes BTS’ first English-language song their highest placement on the chart.

According to Forbes’ reporter Hugh McIntyre, debuting Billboard’s Pop Song tally means Dynamic may make it huge in Billboard Hot 100. The writer has also offered an understandable explanation behind what he thinks is a clear possibility.

McIntyre writes, “Whenever a brand new cut debuts on a radio list before any of the general tallies, such as the Hot 100, it means they were quickly adopted by a large number of radio stations at once, and that’s a surefire sign of an instant hit in the making.”

The energy from the projects of BTS needs no introduction and Dynamite authenticates the same fact. All considered it’s not wrong to expect the Billboard news soon.
