Jennifer Garner Cries After Getting Done With 'The Office' Finale
It has been over seven years since the last episode of The Office was aired. However, it seems the connection Jennifer Garner built with the series was much stronger than she thought. The 48-year-old actress who played vital role on the popular series ended up crying as she left the series.
The actress took Instagram to share her feelings with fans on Aug. 24 and explained that her kids accompanied her while watching the sitcom based on a bunch of office workers. Garner finished watching the finale and after binge-watching, during the pandemic, the actress decided to shoot a video of herself.
What became sweet to the fans that she, by mistake, shot the entire video expressing herself in slow motion. “My kids and I have spent months piled on the couch working our way through 'How to Behave as Grownups.' Apparently we are sensitive people -- the finale hit us pretty hard,” she captioned the video.
She further admitted that she realized after completing the video that she has shot her testimonial in slow motion instead of regular video. However, she decided to go ahead and post the video despite the farewell looks funnier in slo-mo.
Garner acknowledged the Monday blues and said that it felt important to share this video with her fans. She also invited her co-stars and crew to her house by adding hashtags following the sweet caption. She used #icantwithfinales, #pleasecomeoverweloveyou, and #thankyoucastandcrew as an invitation.
As the video was shot in slow motion, there was no audio in the video. However, Garner decided to voice over her own video and addressed her fans. She teased them that they will never figure out which show she just finished watching.
She admitted in the voice-over that the finale episode gave her "big feelings" She laughed during the voice-over session by looking at her own crying video. The emotional video became funny and sweet at the same time that took fans on a nostalgic ride.
The actress acknowledged her tears and said that she needed this cry and probably later she would go and take a shower. Although she admitted being passionate about the series even after half a decade.
