Princess Diana, allegedly, had a crush on Mick Jagger. And after her split from Prince Charles, the late royal and the musician, allegedly, flirted with each other.

According to New Idea, Queen Elizabeth’s younger sister, Princess Margaret also had a crush on the Rolling Stones frontman. However, it is unclear if they also flirted.

A source claimed that it was Princess Diana that sparked dating rumors with Jagger.

“She was quite flirty with Mick when their paths crossed after she split up from Prince Charles. Of course, Charles heard about it and absolutely hated it. He already had a healthy disdain for Mick after what he’d heard about Margaret, so the last thing he wanted was for his ex-wife to get cozy with him too,” the source said.

The insider claimed that the Princess of Wales denied that something happened between her and Jagger.

“Maybe she was telling the truth, but Charles rarely believed a word she said – given both of their extra-marital affairs over the years. It didn’t do much for Diana’s case that Charles suspected she had a thing for musicians and was already convinced she was sleeping with Eric Clapton,” the source said.

The insider claimed that in Prince Charles’s mind, he was convinced that Princess Diana and Jagger hooked up. And until today, no one is able to tell him otherwise.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. After all, Princess Diana and Jagger didn’t have an affair. While it is possible for the late royal to have had a crush on the musician, this doesn’t mean that they hooked up.

During their marriage, it was Prince Charles who cheated on Princess Diana first. The future king had an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles back then and the Princess of Wales was aware of it.

While speaking with Martin Bashir for Panorama, Princess Diana said that her marriage became crowded because there are three of them in her marriage. The statement was a reference to Prince Charles and Camilla.

During one party, Princess Diana, reportedly, confronted Camilla over her affair with her husband. Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom wasn’t invited to the party but she, reportedly, made a shocking appearance.

While there, Camilla asked Princess Diana what more did she want because she’s the one married to Prince Charles. The late royal said that she wants her husband back.
