Vanessa Bryant Remembers Kobe Bryant On His Birthday
Vanessa Bryant paid respect to her late husband Kobe Bryant on his birthday. The 38-year-old star's wife wrote a note on social media about her husband who passed away on Jan. 26 along with the daughter they shared, Gianna.
There were seven more people in the helicopter that crashed. Vanessa commemorates her 13-year-old daughter and her husband who would have turned 42 on Aug. 23. She took Instagram to pour her heart out.
"To my baby~ Happy birthday, I love you and miss you more than I can ever explain. I wish you and Gigi were here to celebrate YOU!," she began the heartbreaking post. She said missing making her husband's favorite food or cake with her daughter on this special day.
Vanessa went on and said how much she misses Kobe's kisses, hugs, deep laugh, and his smile. She said how much she loved to tease the basketball player and make him laugh as she busted his bubble every time. She joked about Kobe sitting on her lap like a huge baby and recalled the patience and tenderness of the sports player.
Vanessa admitted to thinking of Kobe whenever she deals with a difficult situation that how he must have handled it. She said that Kobe made her the strong person she is today and taught how to see positive in people while cutting out the bad things.
She also confessed that her amazing gestures towards her are what she misses the most. Vanessa disclosed that Kobe uses to come home with a big smile and hugs daily. She also spoke about her teenage daughter and how empty it feels without her and Kobe.
She revealed that from inside she has been broken completely. While she wants to cry, instead she keeps a smile on her face to ensure that their daughters keeps shinning. She admitted not being the strong one but her daughters, Natalia Diamante Bryant who is 17-year-old, Bianka Bella Bryant is 3-year-old, and Capri Kobe Bryant is one-year-old.
Vanessa continued the lengthy note and said that she wants this dreadful nightmare to come to an end. She revealed being angry about not being the first one to go. While she said it is a completely selfish thing but at least she would have not been through this heartache.
