Katie Holmes never fails to look classy no matter how she is dressed. It seems she has passed her incredible style sense to her 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise as they looked all set for a girl’s day in The Big Apple over the weekend. 

The 41-year-old actress and her teenage daughter both looked chic as they stepped out together. The Dawson’s Creek alum looked fantastic dressed in a plaid dress, which flaunted her toned body. 

The actress kept her tresses loose and down and wore a pair of sunglasses. She accessorized her outfit with a matching tote bag and covered her face with a protective blue mask.  

Meanwhile, her lovely teenage daughter looked equally stylish in a pretty blue dress. She wore a pink face mask and a pair of gold sandals. The 14-year-old had braided her hair and had her mobile phone close. 

Whenever the Batman Begins actress is not inspiring the fans with her immaculate fashion sensibilities, she tries to participate in the political topics, which are close to heart, Daily Mail reports. 

It was quite recently that the First Daughter star had opened up about her political preferences on Instagram. She mentioned that her vote will go for the Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden. 

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are holed in their NYC home amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. She shares her daughter with her former husband and Scientologist Tom Cruise.

Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in 2012, which got finalized just 10 days later. She retained Suri’s primary custody although Cruise retained his visitation rights. 

Life in isolation has been full of pleasant surprises for the actress as she mentioned in one of her recent interviews. She has been also busy with the remote promotion of her upcoming movie The Secret: Dare to Dream. 

The actress revealed that she prefers to keep her daughter out of all her interviews. Holmes also mentioned that doing simple things together such as spending quality time and preparing dinner amid the lockdown has also been a wonderful experience. 

Meanwhile, the mom-of-one feels her teen daughter will conquer the planet one day. She seems to be extremely proud of her daughter, who is her only child. The star is convinced that her daughter has the potential to achieve great things in life as she grows older. 

Katie Holmes revealed how each stage in her daughter Suri Cruise’s life has given her so much joy. The doting mom feels her daughter has an “incredible spirit,” Yahoo News NZ reports.
