Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Want 'Traditional Schooling' For Their Children: Report
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six adorable children together. While the former Hollywood couple had previously opted for homeschooling their kids, it has been reported that Pitt wants the kids to pursue their studies in traditional schools.
Pitt and his former wife Jolie have allegedly agreed to send their children to traditional schools according to their child custody arrangement. If reports are to be believed, the star of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” wants the children to study in a proper school setting instead of studying from home.
Even the therapist of the former couple’s kids has also advised for the same. The decision shall be applicable for Jolie and Pitt’s five kids – Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and their twins Knox and Vivienne. The ex-couple also shares their 18-year-old son Maddox who studies abroad.
Maddox is excluded from this agreement because he is studying in South Korea. The parents had earlier opted for homeschooling for their kids as they were always on the move, News 18 reports.
Maddox is currently studying at Seoul’s Yonsei University. However, he is with his family now amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. It is being said that he is concentrating on his Russian and Korean studies at home until the school reopens, Geo News reports.
The actress had previously shared with a local media outlet in South Korea that she was happier with her son’s choice of university. She also mentioned that Maddox will not take a transfer from his school. She mentioned that her son’s school is closed because of the current global crisis.
The “Maleficent” star has recently shared that Maddox will not stay at home permanently. Maddox should be going back to South Korea to resume his studies once the crisis ends.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly consented to a special custody agreement. The agreement includes transitional and education support for all their kids.
Pitt has allegedly filed papers in the County Court of Los Angeles and communicated to the judge that he is in favor of “traditional” schooling for his kids instead of homeschooling.
Jolie had earlier said that she was worried about the education of her kids. In 2017, the actor had said that she was hardly taught much in school and it bothered her.
She said, “I do worry about my children’s education.” She had opted for homeschooling for the kids partially because they belonged to different places in the world.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt parted ways in 2016 after living together for over a decade. They exchanged their vows in 2014 but split after a couple of years of their marriage.
