Allegations of abusive and toxic behavior on Hollywood productions continue to spring up, with the latest coming from actress Rose McGowan, who claims her co-star Alyssa Milano made the set of the hit show Charmed “toxic AF.”

People reports that McGowan’s revelation came after she engaged in a Twitter spat with Milano over the recently concluded Democratic National Convention. McGowan claimed that the Democrats have accomplished nothing, driving Milano to respond with a series of tweets.

Milano listed all the accomplishments of the Democratic Party, starting with the 1920 amendment to the constitution by Woodrow Wilson that allowed women to vote. In 23 tweets, Milano showed Democratic accomplishments from 1916 all the way to 2017.

The 47-year-old actress then implied that McGowan was an “actual fraud” and that her “lies” would be detrimental to people who do not have the same privileges as her. She then called on her followers to list down other achievements of the Democratic Party.

As per E! Online, McGowan responded instead with claims that Milano had appropriated the #MeToo movement from Tarana Burke as well as her own movement, Cultural Reset, for “fame” and because she was, allegedly, jealous of McGowan outing her rapist.

McGowan then went in with accusations of workplace misbehavior on the part of Milano, claiming that she would throw tantrums in front of the crew and exclaim that she was not being paid enough to do the show. McGowan alleged that this happened daily and that she cried every time the show got renewed.

McGowan then posted a screenshot of her being blocked by Milano. For her part, Milano released a statement implying that McGowan was lashing out because she was “hurt.” The statement also said that commenting further did not align with Milano’s wellness plan.

The fiery spat and the subsequent accusation by McGowan is just the latest in a string of exposes about abusive behavior behind the scenes on Hollywood productions. Just recently, WarnerMedia was revealed to be conducting an investigation on Joss Whedon and his alleged unprofessionalism on set.

The claims against Whedon come from Ray Fisher, who portrayed Cyborg in the Justice League film that Whedon directed. Aside from calling Whedon’s on-set behavior as unprofessional, abusive, and gross, Fisher also accused former DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns and former Warner Bros. co-president of production Jon Berg of enabling Whedon’s behavior.

WarnerMedia just recently concluded its investigation on the alleged abuses being conducted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where incidents of racism and sexual harassment have supposedly occurred.
