Sofia Vergara stands tall with Ellen DeGeneres after the clip viral on social media. Vergara had appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show several times and the clip that got resurfaced had a compilation of her appearances on the show.

One of the segments mentioned in that clip had DeGeneres taking a dig at The Knights of Prosperity star's accent. Netizens noticed the behavior and called out DeGeneres for teasing the actress who hails from Colombia.

The 48-year-old actress who is currently judging America's Got Talent came forward to guard DeGeneres on social media. She posted the clip and wrote a caption that reads two comedians are entertaining audiences while having fun.

The actress explained the 2015 clip in which DeGeneres and Vergara spoke about their commercial for CoverGirl. She said that she wasn't a victim of the show. In fact, she was part of the joke that helped entertain the viewers.

Vergara in the clip confessed that pronouncing the lines given to her that includes ingredients was the most difficult thing to pull off. "I think because you are much more famous than me and older than me. So they give you priority and you read the script first and then you're the one that makes me say those words because there's no way," the actress said in the video shared.

She admitted that those words in the script make her provide useful information and moreover look good on camera. Mother of one tweeted immediately to rest the controversy amid the ongoing investigation at The Ellen DeGeneres Show regarding workplace misconduct based on race and gender.

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. spokesperson disclosed that co-executive producer Jonathan Norman, executive producers Kevin Leman and Ed Glavin had walked out of the show. The spokesperson also revealed that Stephen Boss, the show's resident DJ who worked on Ellen for six years promoted to the post of co-executive producer.

DeGeneres has apologized again after the show returned on-air through a video call. An insider revealed that she sincerely apologized to all the staff members that included over 200 people. In fact, DeGeneres provided additional perks to the employees that include medical leave and increased salary.

These perks will allow members working on the show to take off on birthdays, doctor appointments, discretion, family matters, and more. While staff takes off on the mentioned days to take care of their personal stuff, they will still get paid by the show.
