Prince William, Kate Middleton Allegedly Refusing To Visit Balmoral If Prince Andrew Is There
Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t allegedly want to be associated with Prince Andrew.
According to Life & Style, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made it clear that they won’t set foot in Balmoral if Prince Andrew is there.
Prince William and Middleton are allegedly furious at the Duke of York for dragging the royal family along with him. He’s accused of sexually abusing underage girls decades ago.
Prince Andrew was also good friends with the late Jeffrey Epstein. And their associations have allegedly affected the royal family negatively.
Even though Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband denied that he was ever intimate with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, he still decided to take a step back from his royal duties to prevent further embarrassment.
Despite his tough decision, some senior members of the royal family still don’t want to have anything to do with Prince Andrew.
“Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, William and Kate all said they refused to visit the queen in Scotland if Andrew was invited,” the source said.
The insider claimed that Queen Elizabeth has already informed Prince Andrew that he’s no longer welcomed in Balmoral. After all, this is the only way for the monarch to still be able to see her other loved ones.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Andrew hasn’t been banned from going to Balmoral.
In fact, it is unlikely for the queen to do this to her favorite child. After all, the queen didn’t even forsake Prince Andrew after he was linked to Giuffre.
There are claims that the queen is simply being very protective towards Prince Andrew that’s why she agreed with his decision to step back from his royal duties.
Meanwhile, the Duke of York also made headlines this week amid claims that he will receive a special honor on his birthday. Westminster Abbey recently released its official bell-ringing schedule.
The list confirmed that the bells will ring on Prince Andrew’s birthday on Feb. 19, 2021. Other royal birthdays that will be honored with the ringing of bells include Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince William, Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no longer be commemorated with the ringing of the bells because they already quit The Firm in January.
