As the coronavirus continues to tighten its grip on people across the world, the royal family is trying to do its duties virtually. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are carrying out their royal duties via video call, giving us a brief glimpse of their once private home workspaces.

Prince William and Kate Middleton expressed their gratitude to teachers at a school that is staying open for kids of essential workers amid the coronavirus crisis. During a video call, which seems to be of the Zoom type, the couple interacted with the students, as well as the staff at Casterton Primary Academy.

Dialing in from the Norfolk home, Ammer Hall, Prince William said: “we just want to say a huge thank you to you guys and well done in keeping it all going.” Furthermore, he requested them to pass on their message of support for the rest of the staff members and volunteers, noting that they are doing a great job.

Kate, 38, offered her thanks to them, saying the children's parents who are serving as key workers would be relieved knowing that the normality is there for their children. She congratulated the school staff for giving them a safe place and the structure.

Aside from a pleasant gesture of gratitude for the school staff, the call gave us a sneak peek inside the royal couple's home. While the Cambridges haven't officially divulged details about where they are socially distancing, a report from Town&County suggests Kate, William and their kids George, Charlotte, and Louis have moved to Anmer Hall, which is the family's country house located in Norfolk.

Regardless of their current location, the video call shows that both Will and Kate like a classic neutral aesthetic for their home office. The wall behind is beige, the door is cream, and a piece of furniture, which looks like an armoire over Will's right soldier sports a shade of turquoise.

The video call also gave us a glimpse of other design elements including Kate's classic wooden chair, and a work of art which seems to be a landscape scene. Unlike Charles and Camilla, the couple does not seem to fancy having shelves with personal photographs.

Just a few days ago, the Cambridges showed off their workspace in the Kensington Palace in a new photo. Those images featured Prince William sitting at a desk and Kate talking to someone on the phone with a collection of books place on her desk.
