Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt has been declared as the “Sexiest Man Alive” twice. However, Kristen Dunst, a former co-star of his did not enjoy the experience of kissing him while shooting for a blockbuster film.

It seems one of the Troy star’s co-actor did not consider him to be a heartthrob like a majority of other people. A dark film in the mid-1990s had a scene where Pitt’s co-star had to kiss him on the lips.  

It was a film titled Interview with the Vampire, which was adapted from a book by Anne Rice. Pitt played the part of a plantation owner called Louis in the movie who was heartbroken when his brother died. 

Louis soon meets a vampire called Lestat, a character portrayed by another Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise. The latter turns Louis also into a bloodsucker and starts living in the plantation. 

Soon, Lestat also turns a kid called Claudia (Kristen Dunst) into a vampire so that Louis gets a “daughter” and does not leave the plantation. Claudia becomes intellectually and emotionally mature though she never grows old physically. 

It seems Dunst clinched this interesting part by beating out other big names such as Evan Rachel Wood and Natalie Portman who were also vying for the same role, Hollywood Reporter reports. Incidentally, she was nominated for her first Golden Globe Awards for the role when she was only 11-year-old. 

There was one particular scene in this dark movie where Dunst had to kiss Brad Pitt on his lips. Although many women were envious of her because she got a chance to do this scene with the Hollywood hunk, Dunst was not exactly too excited about it. 

The former costar of the Fight Club, reportedly, said it was only a peck. However, she thought the scene was disgusting. The actress also revealed that the next time she kissed someone else was only when she was 16. 

The actress went on to act in a string of movies after that including the Spider-Man trilogy, Wag the Dog, and Little Women. However, she did not backtrack from her earlier statements while promoting a series called Becoming A God In Central Florida in 2019.

The actress gave a reason of why she found the scene so repulsive. The Bring It On actress said she was disgusted with the scene as she treated Pitt like her older brother while shooting for the film. 

Kristen Dunst found it sort of weird to kiss as he was an older guy. However, the actress has extremely fond memories of the film except for that unpleasant scene. She recalls how sweet Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have been to her during the shooting of the film, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
