But before the royal couple met, the Duchess of Cambridge was linked to a slew of men.

Before she studied at St. Andrew’s University, Middleton was dating her college boyfriend. According to Mirror, Willem Marx was the future queen’s, first love.

Today, Marx is still residing in London with his family. He’s working as a journalist for CNBC.

After enrolling at St. Andrew’s University, Middleton was linked to Rupert Flinch because she and Prince William made things official.

According to the publication, the two dated for less than a year. After all, Flinch was already in his final year of studying law when they first met.

A source previously described Flinch as a nice man and said that before Middleton dated Prince William, he first went out with Flinch. Back then, the Duke of Cambridge was still playing hard to get because he wasn’t sure if he really wanted to date Middleton.

During the span of Prince William and Middleton’s relationship, the royal couple split twice. Following their second split, the Duchess of Cambridge dated Henry Ropner.

However, Middleton and Ropner’s relationship was short-lived because the former and Prince William eventually decided to get back together.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge also made headlines this week amid claims that her body language shows she’s dramatically sad in the royal family.

While speaking with Express, body language expert Judi James said that Middleton usually tries to make Prince William laugh whenever they’re out in public.

However, in between her smiles and laughter, there’s, reportedly, quite dramatic glimpses of a sadder and more thoughtful-looking expression. James said that this most likely comes from the pressure she’s now under.

But despite her conflicting body language, there’s no doubt that Middleton is aware that she is popular in her own right. And that she has also earned the respect of Queen Elizabeth and other royals.

This week, Middleton also made headlines amid claims that she might be pregnant. While there hasn’t been any confirmation from the palace, a source said that it’s only a matter of time before an announcement will be made.
