Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Shock: Sussexes Returning To The UK For Personal And Professional Reasons
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to quit The Firm and leave the United Kingdom earlier this year.
However, Finding Freedom author, Omid Scobie revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to the United Kingdom very soon.
While speaking with Royal Central, Scobie said that Prince Harry and Markle will return to the former’s home for both professional and personal reasons.
“Harry and Meghan have made it clear that their work in the UK, including their royal patronages, will continue. While their base will be in the US, I think once travel restrictions ease we will see them moving around again and undertaking trips to the UK, both privately and professionally,” he said.
Scobie said that Prince Harry and Markle love to get out there. And they also want to be active in the field. A lot of the word that they've started, which includes Markle's four patronages, is in the United Kingdom.
Scobie’s shocking revelation came weeks after royal editor Russell Myers claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be welcomed back to the United Kingdom. After all, they already decided to quit the royal family.
Myers also predicted that Finding Freedom could make things worse for Prince Harry and Markle. After all, no member of the royal family was left unscathed in the controversial book.
Myers said that things are pretty bad for Prince Harry and Markle. And a lot of people see them as fabulously wealthy and privileged people. This, according to the royal editor, doesn't sit well with Britons.
Some royal fans also said that Prince Harry and Markle wouldn’t be welcomed back into the United Kingdom. They also accused the royal couple of being ungrateful.
Meanwhile, Markle also made headlines this week amid claims that she has romantic and unrealistic expectations about the royal family.
In her latest column for Mail Online, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that Markle didn’t really understand what the British monarchy and the royal family were really about.
“It might seem easy to blame the arrival of Meghan among the royals for the new atmosphere of tension and, at times, anger. And certainly, she was used to a different way of working, as Finding Freedom makes clear. She complained about having to take a back seat and didn’t seem to understand compromise. Her success had built on determination and the fact that she had always refused to give in,” she said.
