Things are about to get dangerous in the BLUE Tournament as the contestant will go to any extent to beat the opponents. Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 8 is called The Missing Half of the Moon.

An underground chef and a subordinate of Asahi Saiba named Don Calma is up against Takumi in Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 8. The official spoilers for the upcoming episode tease that the participants for the new contest will be tested on their amuse-bouche cooking skills.

For this contest, the participants can call for help and work in a team. Takumi asks Isami to help him with the cooking challenge.

However, on the day of the challenge, Isami doesn’t arrive to assist Takumi. If the spoilers to be believed, Isami is abducted by the goons hired by Don Calma. What will Takumi do now? It remains to be seen if he can beat Don Calma without any help.

Don Calma appears to be a polite and affectionate personality. However, deep down he is quite arrogant and uses dirty tricks to defeat the opponents. Can he beat Takumi in the team battle match?

In the manga, Don Calma announces that he will take Takumi’s cooking tool if he is able to beat him in the contest. Meanwhile, Don Calma calls his drag queens as assistants to help in the cooking battle.

Episode 8 of the series is scripted by Shogo Yasukawa and storyboard done by Miayana Okita. The episode is directed by Makoto Souza. Idumi Yamanaka, Yumi Nakayama, Puiki Pan and Jumondo are credited as animation directors. The chief animation directors are Tomoyuki Shitaya and Masakazu Yamazaki.
