Cardi B Gave Megan Thee Stallion A Birkin Bag
Cardi B is a Birkin lover!
The 27-year-old female rapper and a mother-of-one gifted her ‘WAP’ teammate and fellow female rapper Megan Thee Stallion a custom-made version of the legendary handbag. According to US Magazine, the luxurious bag retails for around a whopping $9,000 price. Cardi B’s generous gift-giving act comes after their rap single sits on the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
On Aug. 17 (Monday), the ‘Savage’ rapper stormed over her personal Instagram account to flaunt off her newest bag. “My manager just walked in and said cardi sent you something,” she wrote, then revealing that Cardi B gifted her a Birkin bag. Megan expressed her gratefulness to her good friend and hinted a payback.
The light orange purse showcases a specifically made artwork that shows off Megan’s great scenes in the sultry and evocative music video of ‘WAP’ made available on Aug. 7 (Friday). The bag features a shining blue water droplet that gathers around a white tiger. Megan graces the bag artwork by standing beside the enormous cat animal donning a matching white striped outfit as she poses an attitude by licking her finger.
On the purse’s sides are printed money signs painted vividly and a hearts designs in a graffiti-style. Moreover, the back part features a sunset street with writing placed across that reads, “be someone.”

The initial post shared by Hot Meg is a video clip of her unwrapping the fancy Hermes box that reveals Cardi B’s special gift. “Wow. I’m dead,” she said the moment she saw the Birkin bag.
In the second post, Megan shared a close view of the personalized design while the third photo is Cardi B’s message to Megan that is placed in the bottom part. “Really appreciate you,” the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper wrote.
Meanwhile, Harpers Bazaar finds that Cardi B is a vocal fan of painted Birkins. That is known as the rapper’s favorite piece is her bandana-style bag that appeared several times already on her Instagram.
‘WAP’ is a chart-topping single that made history: becoming the first female rap collaboration that debuted as first in rank on the Billboard Hot 100. This year, the newly released record is the most streamed song so far, passing other famous artists’ crafts. The exciting music video hailed Colin Tilley as director and was graced by star-studded cameos, including makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and 5H member Normani. The music video faced numerous backlash because of its adult content but undoubtedly, it is one of today's greatest rap piece.
