Britney Spears stood against her father to become sole conservator, again. As per the documents submitted to the court Los Angeles, Spears has "strongly opposes" to get her father returned as a conservator.

Spears' father, Jamie turned down the role of conservator in 2019. The 38-year-old singer's father looked after her conservatorship for almost a decade. Now, the 68-year-old wants to get solo guardianship of all finances and affairs.

The Baby One More Time star prefers that the conservator who is licensed, Jodi Montgomery should take care of the conservator's post. The singer wants Montgomery to continue with her post, which she has been doing for almost a year.

"We are now at a point where the conservatorship must be changed substantially in order to reflect the major changes in her current lifestyle and her stated wishes. Without in any way waiving her right to seek termination of this conservatorship in the future," as per the documents obtained.

The documents further stated that Spears would like to appoint Montgomery as a permanent conservator. Samuel D. Ingham III, an attorney appointed by the court disclosed in the filing strongly wants qualified fiduciary for the said role.

According to the documents, the singer's father is audaciously opposing the request "in her best interested". The filing in the court revealed that Spears is not looking forward to performing this year. As a result, she wants to hire a sizeable expertise law firm in order to take care of contested litigation.

The example of a complex case that Spears wants to deal with was given as the ongoing trial at the moment. When People went to Jamie's attorney or rep of the singer, none of them was available for comment.

Spears' conservatorship began in 2008 that had her father playing the role of her permanent conservator. Considering the estate, her permanent co-conservator was attorney Andrew Wallet. In 2019, Wallet stepped down from the co-conservator's role.

However, the same year her father also left the role and declared "personal health reasons" for not taking over the role. Although Montgomery immediately was handled the role. Montgomery gained power as soon as she became a conservator to access all records related to testing, diagnosis, and medical treatment of the singer.

While the conservatorship was supposed to end earlier this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the role was elongated until Aug. 22. Earlier, Jamie admitted that the #FreeBritney movement is nothing but a joke to him.
