Prince Philip Allegedly Knows His Days Are Numbered, Wants To Spend More Time With Queen
Prince Philip, allegedly, knows that he doesn’t have long to live.
According to Closer USA, the Duke of Edinburgh is 99 years old. And it is unlikely for him to live for another 10 years.
In fact, Prince Philip knows that his days are numbered that’s why he has been spending as much as he can with Queen Elizabeth.
“He doesn’t have the same energy and needs to look after himself. He knows his days are numbered and is trying to make the most of the time he has left with the queen,” the source said.
During his final days, the dad of four, reportedly, enjoys going on walks with his wife. They also play card games and reminisce of their past experiences.
Prince Philip and the queen, reportedly, talk about some of the most amazing trips they’ve taken across the globe. And the queen regularly tells her husband about what it was like meeting Winston Churchill.
Another favorite topic of the royal couple is the late Princess Margaret. The tabloid claimed that Princess Margaret used to make Prince Philip and the queen laugh hysterically.
But when she was still alive, Her Majesty used to be harsh with her younger sister. The source said that if the queen can turn back the hands of time, she would change her attitude towards Princess Margaret.
Meanwhile, the source also talked about the end of the queen’s reign, Prince Charles’ ascension to the throne, and the queen’s feelings about Prince Harry.
“It’s nearing the end of the queen’s reign and she’s planning to pass down the crown to Charles sooner rather than later. Charles has already taken on many of her duties and since marrying Camilla, he has become so much more self-assured. Having a strong woman by his side has helped him become more confident,” the source said.
During her private discussions with her husband, the queen doesn’t, reportedly, shy away from admitting that she was never a perfect parent. After all, she wasn’t very involved in her children’s lives. However, she’s trying to make up for lost time right now.
“The queen may come across to some as stern, but she has become warmer with age. She and Philip say that the family is their greatest accomplishment,” the source said.
The queen is also, reportedly, worried about Prince Harry and how he’s coping with his new life in the United States.
