Prince William, Kate Middleton’s Full Wedding Menu Released For The First Time
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding was televised in 2011. However, their reception was kept private.
After nine years, Hello! magazine obtained a copy of Prince William and Middleton’s full wedding menu.
For their starters, the royal couple served their guests with Marinated South Uist salmon, Lyme Bay crab and wild Hebridean langoustines, fresh herb salad. The meal was accompanied by a glass of Meursault, Domaine Guyot-Javillier 2009 wine.
Prince William and Middleton’s main course consisted of Saddle of North Highland Mey Select organic lamb, Highgrove spring vegetables, English asparagus, Jersey Royal potatoes, and sauce Windsor.
The meal was complemented with a glass of L'Hospitalet de Gazin, Pomerol 2004.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s dessert featured a trio of Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle, and chocolate parfait. However, guests were only allowed to choose one dessert.
Prince William and Middleton served their guests with a glass of Laurent Perrier Rose alongside their dessert. There was also a wide range of coffee and tea selection for the guests.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton also made headlines this week amid reports that they still haven’t spoken to Prince Harry regularly.
In the book Finding Freedom, author Omid Scobie revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry are still hurting following their feud.
During his interview with True Royalty TV, Scobie said that the last time that the royal siblings spoke was in January when Queen Elizabeth called them for an emergency summit.
“I think the distance between the brothers grew wider and wider,” he said.
Scobie also shared what he thinks went wrong for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Cambridges.
“I think really where it went wrong for Harry and Meghan and the Cambridges was that decision to go public with the road map to their new working model. The statements weren’t discussed internally. That’s really what caused the most amount of hurt to William because he wears two hats. He’s not just the brother, he’s also future king — and he felt that damaged the reputation of the family,” he told The Sun.
But despite the reported falling out, Prince William and Middleton still extended an olive branch at the Sussexes. Earlier this month, the future king and queen of Britain greeted Markle on her 39th birthday.
