Rapper Cardi B Personally Talks With Joe Biden And Gave Her Special Requests
27-year-old American rapper Cardi B interviewed the aspiring president of the America and Democratic candidate Joe Biden for the recently released Elle fashion magazine issue. Cardi and Joe talked and dissected relevant topics and issues like the coronavirus global pandemic, college tuition fees, and current President Donald Trump's "dangerous" preconceived notion.
As per Billboard, referencing the rapper's interview with Joe, the former vice president took his chance to ask Cardi's main interest in the nearing November election, which is 79 days away. The 'Bodak Yello' rapper was very swift to answer that it all comes down to one thing: the truth.
Cardi is a proclaimed avid supporter of Joe's erstwhile rival for the party's nomination, Senator Berni Sanders. The rapper then blurted to the presidential candidate that she holds a full list of things that she wants America's next president to do for the American people. However, before revealing the record, she wants Trump out first.
"His mouth gets us in trouble so much. I don't want to be lied to … we're dealing with a pandemic right now, and I just want answers," Cardi exclaimed, saying that she wants the COVID-19 to be soon over. As per Cardi, her longing in going back to her job is blurred out by Trump's lies and deceits. The rapper also expressed her opinion on Trump's statement that it is okay not to wear a face mask and that "everything will be okay."
Moreover, she opened up on how she is eager to hail a president who helps the people by giving out the best options and steps towards America's current state. She added that Trump's administration is delaying the resolution of the problem and that other countries are doing a better job than America.
The interview went on with Joe admitting to Cardi what he liked about the rapper's agenda on equity and treating other people with high respect. The rapper's great move in the political scene made Joe recall the Civil Rights movement in his high school years, which profoundly differs from today's atmosphere. According to Joe, people today have an excellent opportunity to change the world and demand change. The presidential candidate talks about a "brave kid" film a George Floyd inspired film that tells a story of a person of color killed by a police officer.
