Alicia Keys' newest album called "ALICIA" is due for release this year. Her single "So Done" is included in this album, collaborated with American singer and songwriter, Khalid. The single's music video stars Sasha Lane, the American Honey actress, and helmed by Andy Hanes.

As described on Billboard, the two artists are putting their fans in a trance, the lyrics of this single also says about living the way you want. They have delivered an introverted and emotional cut that expresses losing oneself and finally finds them again.

In the music video, Alicia Keys and Khalid acts as the performers at a school dance. As Sasha Lane enters the party, she felt left out, and people around are busy on their cellphones. When a group of bikers busted in the scene, things just kicked up, they ripped table cloths off and shredded across the stage punching tables and making a scene. Soon enough, Sasha has decided that she is "so done" with school and went along with a new group of friends, they then rode into the night.

Keys wrote the song along with Khalid and the 15-time Grammy winner, Ludwig Goransson. The single" So Done" is Alicia's first release since June this year. Before that, she premiered the track "Perfect Way To Die" during the wake of BLM protest, discussing the culture of police violence and racism towards black people. She has also released a series of tracks: "Good Job," "Underdog," "Time Machine," and "Show Me Love," assisted by Miguel.

On the other hand, in June, Khalid Donnel Robinson has dropped his song collaboration with Victoria Monet and SG Lewis called "Experience." As reported on NME, the three have released their song to escape from troubling things.

They also stated that the single is vital to them to emphasize and celebrate the joy and love. The matter sets aside the pain and trauma that is going on in the lives of the black people. He is also the singer of the '"Love Simon" record called "Love Lies."

According to Hypebeast, Keys stated that she is so excited to share "So Done" to the world because of its trance genre, and the energy of this song is inevitable. The song is about being over with trying to change yourself for the benefit of other people and letting go of the people trying to control your life.
