Kanye West Reveals His Secret Meeting With Jared Kushner On Social Media As He Eyes 2020 Presidential Election: Report
Clothier and rapper Kanye West admitted his meeting with Jared Kushner last weekend but said they only discussed books. There have been allegations that the hip-hop artist was in the race for the presidential election to reduce the number of votes for Joe Biden.
The musician met with the son-law of the president and White House advisor Kushner in Colorado recently. A source claimed that the rapper is still pursuing his activities to be on November’s presidential ballot.
It was The New York Times that was the first to report the meeting and mentioned Kushner’s wife Ivanka, who also happens to be the daughter of President Donald Trump, and a key White House advisor was also present in the meeting.
West, a clothier, and a rapper declared his participation in the presidential campaign in July this year. This was followed by a string of public rants, which has raised doubts about his motives, as well as, his mental condition, WION reports.
Meanwhile, the rapper took to his Twitter handle to inform about his meeting when The New York Times got in touch with him to comment. Kanye West did not divulge many details while speaking to the publication.
However, he did express his fury over the increasing rates of abortion among black women while mentioning he was not a supporter of the Democrats. The rapper participated in the presidential bid at the last minute around six weeks ago.
Speculations are rife that the hip-hop artist is a big fan of President Donald Trump. Additionally, he has entered the race to snatch votes from Biden.
While he was eligible to be on the country’s presidential ballot in many states, he could not meet the deadline for filing the forms in some of the states. If he intends to go ahead as an independent candidate, it could disturb the race between Trump who seeks re-election, and Joe Biden, the ex-Democratic Vice President.
Meanwhile, reports have it that Kushner and West have been in touch with each other ever since the latter declared his presidential bid. The musician was in Colorado and flew to meet with Kushner. However, Kim Kardashian, his wife did not accompany him for the meeting.
The rapper has been quite candid about him being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the past and how he has been struggling with the ailment. His wife requested the media and public to show him compassion and empathy in this difficult time.
Kanye West deleted his rants on Twitter and even apologized to his wife Kim Kardashian later for making private matters public.
