Brandy Norwood seems to be enjoying the year with the big news of rebooting the 90s sitcom. Norwood spoke with Kevin Frazier regarding her brand new released album that has topped the charts called B7. The album was released two weeks back and it has already hit the top list.

Given that, the actress-singer appears to be happy that her sitcom streaming on an online giant might possibly get a reboot. The sitcom originally aired in 1996 and went on to become household favorite and the finale episode was aired in 2001.

Almost after two decades, the beloved sitcom has started streaming on Netflix again and Brandy revealed that even she is binge-watching it.

"I am so blown away by that. I was braiding my daughter's hair the other day, and she wanted to watch the episode where Moesha met Brandy, me. I don't really have a lot of memory of Moesha because I was so young and it was happening so fast,” Norwood shared her experience as she re-watches the sitcom with her teenage daughter.

Considering the reboot of the sitcom, the 41-year-old actress revealed that it is highly anticipated to take place. She disclosed that the conversation to get Moesha rebooted is strong. The Never Say Never singer also said that she is talking with the "right people" to make this happen.

Norwood continued to explain that Netflix's success has nothing to do with the reboot. The actress-singer seemed to be pretty excited with the revival of her role. Furthermore, she admitted that there is a great significance for sitcom such as Moesha that highlights the Black family.

The actress seemed to be hinting towards the Black Lives Matter movement and continued that showcasing what happens in day to day life of a Black family is important. While she said it is crucial at the moment, she also noted how important it was back then.

However, Norwood went down the memory lane with her very first interview. The interviewer showed her Moesha's earlier interviews and she started tearing up. She apologized for being emotional as she wiped her tears.

She said watching this interview in 2020 makes her "embarrassed" and looks "unbelievable" at so many levels. Although Moesha seems to be earning a young audience even after two decades since the show went off-air. She also celebrated her brand new album that released after eight years of gap.
