The mystery surrounding Indian Poker is getting intense with each episode. A Certain Scientific Railgun T Episode 19 is titled Strange Coincidence.

The official preview trailer for A Certain Scientific Railgun T Episode 19 was released after episode 18 aired.

“That was an ultra-awful experience. So, what are you up to, Frenda? Just texting with a little someone I know. Let’s see. I got pounded by my associate. She has gorilla power. Wait, who are you talking about?” reads the preview of the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Saten Ruiko shows off her kendama skills. Kendama is a traditional Japanese game involving a toy. Misaka Mikoto is impressed with how Saten learned all this in one night. Saten reveals that using Indian Poker cards, they can sleep learn. She later informs Misaka that people can get cards from Traders who deal in large volumes of cards classed by rank.

Saten adds that more popular A-rank and S-rank cards can be acquired through Traders. And by exchanging several low-rank cards, she got a powerful card from the Traders.

Meanwhile, the new characters showcased in A Certain Scientific Railgun T Episode 18 were Hamazura Shiage, Fremea Seivelun, the Indian Poker Merchant, Yoshikawa Kikyou, Yumiya Rakko, Kuruwa, Kuriba Ryouko and Sphynx.

The episode delves deeper into how the Indian Poker has penetrated in the Academy City and people are going crazy over collecting them. Toward the end of A Certain Scientific Railgun T Episode 18, Saten shows off her pen-spinning skills, and there are more items she wants to practice and get better at.

It will be interesting how this craze for Indian Poker cards will affect the protagonists of the anime series. It remains to be seen if the heroes are waiting for the next big disaster in Academy City.
