People reports that Camilla’s new routine was revealed when Prince Charles and the Duchess’ office Clarence House shared a picture. Meanwhile, Charles has also completed his isolation period a few days ago. He shared his distressing and frustrating experience of being alone away from his family and friends.
Their office released a statement to reveal that the future monarch and his wife had a talk with an elderly woman called Doris Winfield from England. The woman has been in self-isolation too for a similar period amid the pandemic.
The Duchess initiated the telephonic call as she is the President of The Royal Voluntary Service. Winfield told Prince Charles’ wife how tough it was for her to stay away from her family. In response, the Duchess also shared a similar experience of her being unable to hug her grandchildren and being away from them during her self-isolation period.
Camilla also shared that she is using an app called the Houseparty to stay in touch with her two children and five grandchildren. She shares both her children Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes from Andrew Parker Bowles, her ex-husband.
The Duchess and Doris discussed how they could pass their time by reading books, especially those written by the famous writer Agatha Christie. It is obvious that the Duchess loves reading fiction novels and some of those books could be seen in the photo of her home office.
The bookshelves in her home office had photos of her grandchildren too. There are also a few old monochrome pictures of her family and some paper cutout dolls of the royal family. The figure of Queen Elizabeth II could be seen between the paper figures of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Other cutouts included that of Camilla herself, Prince Charles, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Philip.
