Through an official announcement of Big Hit Entertainment via Weverse, the agency expressed their saddening news that the ‘Map of the Soul On: E’ show will only have a limited seating arrangement. The decision is in light of the government’s mandate to physical distancing measure; thus, the spread of the coronavirus will not take place during the live event. And due to the limited seats available, the agency decided to hold live streaming for those who couldn’t grace the exciting show.
Alongside the announcement, a compelling poster was released that shows the South Korean septet wearing red outfits. The band’s “maknae” Jungkook pulls off a long red silk sheet behind while the group faces the desert backdrop.
The background depicts a scorching desert with a limitless horizon, but despite the cryptic surrounding, the lads still kept their heads high. Critics were then very swift to conclude that the poster features the in-depth symbolism of the pandemic the world has to go through for the past few months.
