Pippa Middleton’s Shock: How Prince Harry Helped Meghan Sneak Into Her Wedding
Bombshell after bombshell of royal secrets were revealed in the recently released book ‘Finding Freedom’. The book details the life of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle up to the time of which the couple decided to leave their royal duties. ‘Finding Freedom’ has found its way in the number one spot in Amazon in the US and the UK and the revelations the book carries are one to talk about.
The book that was written by authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Duran detail how Meghan Markle was snuck into Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception. Pippa is the sister of Kate Middleton, wife to Prince William, collectively known as Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Harry had to carefully sneak in Meghan in the wedding reception. The book claims that Meghan stayed in a small Airbnb where a close friend and a wedding guest were staying.
Before this revelation, it was assumed that Prince Harry took a 150 mile trip to Kensington palace back to Englefield, Berkshire to pick up Meghan, but it is now clear that this did not happen at that all the while Meghan was in Berkshire.
It was also revealed in the book that Meghan chose to wear a simple long black dress and did her own makeup for the occasion. Her ensemble for that night was curated by her good friend Jessica Mulroney.
Prince Harry was able to sneak in Meghan into the reception just as the celebrations began and as per Pippa’s request, no couple was to be seated together. Meghan was seated with tennis star Federer’s wife all throughout the reception and was only reunited with the Prince when the reception ended.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were in the early stages of dating during Pippa Middleton’s wedding and it was revealed that Pippa Middleton and her mother, Carole were reluctant to invite the then actress Meghan. According to many, having Meghan at the wedding would create a big ruckus and take away the limelight from the bride and the wedding.
“Both the bride [Pippa] and her mum, Carole, privately harbored concerns that the American actress’s presence alongside Harry might overshadow the main event,” an extract from the book states. Meghan was well aware of her status at that time, both her and Prince Harry together would make a big fuss. Collectively they decided that Meghan was to skip the wedding ceremony and would only attend the reception.
