'AGT' Recap: Judge Sofia Vergara Points Archie Williams As Season 15's Grand Winner
The full-production of America's Got Talent season 15 bids their temporary goodbye to judge Simon Cowell after undergoing surgery for his back injury incurred in an electric bike blow. Singer and American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson fills in Cowell's judging position as a replacement judge [TVLine].
The live show aired in multiple locations within Hollywood's Universal Studios and worldwide.
Pork Chop Revue opened up the famous show that features talented and huge pigs. Still, the performance lacks stage presence Despite Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum's positive appraisal, Howie Mendel says it's a "very lethargic dog act."
Next to the lineup is Feng E, performing live via satellite from Taiwan. She is a ukulele player that rocked on the online stage of mash-up song arrangement, as per Hollywood Life. Howie compares Feng E to Jimi Hendrix while Kelly says the musician can bring about an entire arena with her performance. Feng E was followed by Shakira McGrath, who wowed the judges with her empowering act of Rascal Flatt's "What Hurts The Most." The Latina judge discloses McGrath's voice as magical while Kelly advises the aspiring singer things that she could do to improve her mighty voice.
The third performance is from Simon & Maria, who performed in Mel's Diner. The duo's sultry grooves led Howie to comment they are getting better than before. Sofia is an avid fan of the dancing duo. The flexible FrenchieBabyy returns the eh "AGT" stage by bending his arms and body in ways no one can never imagine.
Bello & Annaliese Nock is supposed to grace the renowned stage, but Bello incurred a minor accident in the final rehearsal. Bello's unfortunate incident led to Annaliese to perform solo. Despite her unpreparedness, Heidi loved the act, and Sofia praised her.
The show's stunning moment is when Sofia's golden buzzer contestant, Robert Battaglia, stormed over the stage with her beautiful rendition of Lauren Daigle's "You Say."
The COVID-19 survivor Michael Yo made the judges laugh with his comedic skits. The doubleton of Double Dragon shares their attitude in their spectacular performance leading to Heidi wanting to join the crew.
Second, before the final performer is Brett Loudermilk, where she delivered a jaw-dropping stunt, his tricks made Kelly and Sofia freak out a little bit.
The final performance is from Archie Williams. The musician spent almost all his life in prison for a crime he didn't commit. He moved Sofia with his "Love's In Need Of Love Today" by Stevie Wonder. Heidi admitted she nearly cried, and Sofia said Archie deserves all the praises and good comments more than anyone.
