Joey King Confesses Awkwardness With Ex-Boyfriend Jacob Elordi In 'The Kissing Booth' Sequel
American actress Joey King opened up a fishy topic to Cosmopolitan Magazine and appeared as the fashion magazine’s September issue as the cover star. The young actress talked about various problems and issues, mostly about her Netflix stunt. The critical topic the actress and Cosmo tackled about is her past romantic relationship with ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Jacob Elordi. The actor plays as King’s love interest in the famous “The Kissing Booth 2” aired on Netflix
The former all-star couple rolled camera video films back-to-back with “The Kissing Booth” first and second installment. And as per King, the whole process is not that easy as anyone can imagine. “No one’s thinking to themselves, ‘That was easy,’ because it wasn’t,” she said.
King admitted to the outlet bluntly and then said people would surely analyze and watch out for their actions, considering they are exes. But the actress doesn’t want to focus on what people have to say by letting them blurt out what they want to say about them.
According to Hollywood Life, King and Elordi sparked their romantic duo in 2017 and ended a year after, despite their lowkey maintenance. They initially met on the first film of the movie series in the early months of 2017, both of the stars headlines “The Kissing Booth,” acting upon the characters of Elle Evans and Noah Flynn. The duo went on with their low-profiled relationship and sharing sweet photos on social media on the side.
Joey added that no matter what happened, she couldn’t deny that she loves playing her character as Elle Evans, and she wants to keep everything very professional. Following the couple’s split in 2018, the actress shows up on the series’ sequel with full determination to give her all-out talent for the sake of the show. Even with having so much to say about Elordi, King opted to be at her best to make sure she plays her character and lines very well.
King is a very passionate actress where in fact, she was cast in two more projects like playing Sarah in “Camp” and starring with Brad Pitt for the upcoming action thriller film entitled “Bullet Train. The Emmy-nominated artist’s team is talking with the production of “The In Between” for her role.
The success of “The Kissing Booth 2” will give prominence to its third installment entitled “The Kissing Booth 3” due next year, as per E!
