The Late-night show fans have some good news as their favorite hosts, James Corden and Stephen Colbert return back to the studio. The Late Late Show and The Late Show was telecasted from respective homes of the CBS hosts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While fans loved the glimpse of their late-night show hosts' personal space, many were eager to see the hosts back in the studio for a professional-looking show. Thankfully, both the hosts will be back in the studio this week.

Colbert expressed his excitement in the monologue during opening his show on Aug. 10. The 56-year-old host said that he is extremely happy to get back on the sets and he has already arrived in New York City.

"I'm back in New York City, as you can see. Here, in the historic Ed Sullivan theater's office building. This is the first time I haven't done my show at my house in five months. I am so happy to be here to see members of my crew," he said.

Colbert thanked his kids and family for supporting him during the pandemic for shooting the segments from his personal space. He revealed that currently, the office has all the crew members available while maintaining a safe distance as per the guidelines.

The A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All! star expressed an immense amount of joy to see everyone in the building again. On the other hand, Corden appeared on the stage following the new guidelines of precautions.

The 41-year-old host will be seen donning a glass shield. He admitted that it felt hilarious and amazing to get back on the show compared to telecasting from his garage. He mentioned that being on stage 56 is close to him and makes him extremely happy.

The host also joked about being checked 56 times to make his way on the stage. Corden shared pictures of the newly designed set on social media for his The Late Late Show. He tweeted that everyone is back on the sets after a lot of planning that ensured crew and staff's safety.

Corden announced that its great to have everyone back in the studio after so long. However, the hosts might have returned to the studios but there is no live audience available to clap on their hilarious punches. The celebrities are going to be a part of the show through video conference.
